public class XPathFilterParameterException
extends FilterParameterizationException

Indicates a problem evaluating the 'xpath' XPath expression on a filter parameter in a DXP file.

If the 'xpath' attribute is defined on a filter parameter in a DXP file, the value of that attribute is used as an XPath expression. This Exception is thrown when there is a problem compiling or evaluating the XPath expression. THe problem could be:

• The XPath expression cannot be compiled, either because it is not valid XPath or because it refers to parameters that have not been declared (all pipeline parameters are available as XPath parameters).
• The XPath cannot be evaluated. This could be because the XPath requires a context in which to be evaluated. XPath expressions used in the 'xpath' attribute should not be contextual.
• The XPath expression evaluates to an empty sequence.
• The XPath expression evaluates to a sequence of more than one item.
• The XPath expression evaluates to a non-atomic value (e.g. a node).
